Delhi bus guide: DTC routes, stops, fares and live buses

Updated · 9 min read · Figures from Delhi’s Open Transit Data, imported 18 July 2026

BusPe is a free Delhi bus information guide. Use the live network to find a route, check its stop sequence, compare recorded fares, plan between two stops and see buses that are currently broadcasting a position.

What this Delhi bus guide covers

Delhi bus travel is easiest when you check three things before boarding: the route number, the destination shown for the direction you need, and the exact stop. BusPe keeps those details together for DTC and cluster (DIMTS) routes.

DTC and cluster buses

DTC is Delhi Transport Corporation. Cluster buses are operated under the Delhi cluster system and are represented in the public feed as DIMTS-operated services. BusPe labels the operator shown by the feed; it is not an official DTC or Delhi Government website.

How to choose the right route and direction

  1. Start with your exact boarding stop, not only the neighbourhood name.
  2. Search the route number and compare the destination terminals for both directions.
  3. Open the route page and check the ordered stop list before boarding.
  4. At a stop with the same name on both sides of a road, choose the stop code and direction that match your journey.

Fares, tickets and passes

The feed contains fare ladders attached to route patterns. Use the Delhi bus fares guide for recorded fare bands and official policy links. Fares, ticketing schemes and pass rules can change, so the conductor and current DTC notice are the final authority.

Live bus positions and arrival limits

A live position is not a guaranteed arrival time. BusPe shows vehicles when the public live feed includes a position and route association. Stop pages use stops away where the data supports it rather than inventing a minute-by-minute ETA.

Major Delhi bus hubs

Airport terminals, railway stations and ISBTs may have several nearby stops rather than one universal boarding point. Use the airport bus guide, railway station guide and ISBT guide, then verify the exact stop on the route page.

Source and update policy

Route, stop, fare and vehicle figures on BusPe come from the Delhi Open Transit Data feed used by the site. Editorial policy information is linked to the relevant official source where available. BusPe is independent and does not operate buses or sell tickets.
