Non-AC buses charge ₹5, ₹10 or ₹15 and AC buses ₹10, ₹15, ₹20 or ₹25, by how far you ride. Fares are the same on DTC and cluster buses. In the official feed, 98% of the 2,354 route patterns with fare data top out at ₹15.

58 route patterns go above the usual top fare, such as services into Noida and some long cross-city and airport routes.
Rules worth knowing
- Tickets are single-journey; there is no return ticket.
- DTC passes are valid on cluster buses and the other way round.
- Carry small notes: conductors often cannot change ₹500 early in a shift.

What is the minimum bus fare in Delhi?
The lowest ticket is ₹5 on a non-AC bus and ₹10 on an AC bus, for a short trip of a few stops.
What is the maximum bus fare within Delhi?
On most routes it is ₹15 non-AC and ₹25 AC. 58 route patterns in the feed charge more than ₹15, mostly long cross-city, airport and Noida services; the highest recorded fare is ₹100.
Do women pay for bus travel in Delhi?
Women, girls and transgender persons who live in Delhi travel free with the Pink Saheli Smart Card, which replaced paper pink tickets from 1 August 2026.
How do I pay the bus fare?
In cash to the conductor, with a mobile ticket in the One Delhi app, or by tapping an NCMC card where the ticket machine supports it.
