About BusPe
BusPe answers the three questions every Delhi bus rider has: which bus goes where I am going, where does it stop, and where is it now. It is an independent website and Android app, free to use and supported by ads.
Where the data comes from
The Government of NCT of Delhi publishes its bus network on the Open Transit Data platform. BusPe uses two of its feeds:
- The GTFS schedule: routes, the order of stops on each route, stop locations and fares. The copy BusPe uses was imported on 18 July 2026 and holds 754 route numbers (2,403 route patterns) and 5,217 stops.
- The GTFS-Realtime feed: bus positions, collected every few seconds. BusPe hides any position older than two minutes.
We tidy route numbers for display (the feed records “764UP” and “764DOWN”; BusPe shows route 764 with both directions), and we compute a few things the feed does not state directly, such as route length from the route’s path and how many route numbers call at a stop. Everything else on a route or stop page is as published.
What BusPe does not do
- No invented timings. The feed BusPe uses has no dependable arrival times, so we show how many stops away a bus is instead of guessing minutes.
- No ticket sales. BusPe is information only.
- No official status. BusPe is not run by or affiliated with DTC, DIMTS or the Delhi Government. Diversions and service changes may not be in the feed.
How the guides are written
Every number in a BusPe guide is calculated from the current feed when the page is built, so it changes when the data does. Rules set by the transport department, such as fares, passes and the Pink Saheli card, link to or cite the official source. Each guide shows the date it was last reviewed.
The app
The Android app adds a stop alarm that alerts you before your stop, saved routes and places, and the live map, in English and Hindi. It is in beta on Google Play.
