Version 2.4 • Updated September 2026 • BusPe Public Mobility Initiative
Public transit navigation demands absolute accuracy. A miscalculated fare stage or missing terminal bay can strand daily commuters, students, and seniors. BusPe adheres to stringent data governance practices to ensure every timetable, stop code, and transfer gate is reliable and actionable.
All route coordinates, stop sequences, and arrival estimates are mapped directly against official General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) bundles released by the Government of NCT Delhi Open Transit Data (OTD) portal, BMTC Open Data, and Maha-Transit.
Before publishing major arterial and orbital corridors (such as 772, Mudrika Seva, or Outer Mudrika OMS), our team cross-references bus terminus dispatch rosters, actual ticket stages, and passenger boarding bays on the ground.
Bus fare calculation logic strictly mirrors official state transport department gazette notifications. When concession schemes transition (e.g. the shift from single-journey paper pink tickets to the NCMC Pink Saheli Smart Card), guidelines are verified against GNCTD orders.
BusPe does not accept paid placements from transit operators to artificially rank bus routes. Recommendations in our Journey Planner are mathematically ranked by travel time, fare economy, and commuter safety.
Transit networks change frequently due to flyover construction, road diversions, depot reallocations, and seasonal festival schedules.
When a commuter flags an outdated stop name or revised bus frequency via our Community Dispatch Desk, our data team validates the report against official depot logs within 24 hours.
